Penn State University (2002)

Penn State has a long-standing chapter of SCCS with nearly two dozen students who meet weekly for educational presentations on children's issues and planning upcoming events. In 2005, the chapter had child-rights activist and speaker Kimmie Weeks give a lecture on campus. Students also carried out a Multicultural dinner, bake sale, summer concert, raffle and Trick or Treat for UNICEF campaign to fundraise for worthy causes, such as an NGO in Santo Domingo, called Ninos del Camino.
