Yale University (2002)

At Yale every Tuesday evening, students meet to discuss issues of child survival and how students can make a difference. We educate ourselves, reach out to other students and student groups, and by lobbying, letter writing, and awareness raising, we let our elected officials know that the crisis of child mortality is something that can and should be met head-on. Recent actions have included hosting the Northeast Regional Conference in 2005, holding a Malaria Outbreak!, advocacy call-in day for the Global Fund and fundraising for a hospital in Tanzania.
